After much development and testing, our integrated RACE platform has been extended to include MED9.1 (EA113 TFSI) platform vehicle. Features are as follows:

Map-Switching: Certain key calibration tables are replicated and allow for on-the-fly adjustment (even while driving) between maps. What each map is intended for is calibrated to the vehicle in consultation with the owner. 

Maps can be changed on the fly/while driving. The selected map is kept in memory even if the ignition is turned off, battery is removed or codes are cleared

An example for Map Switching Maps is as follows:

• Map 1: Stock Power / Valet
• Map 2: Tuned (95 Octane)
• Map 3: High Octane (NF) / 98 / E15
• Map 4: Higher Octane (NF) / 102 / E30

Ignition timing, boost level and fuel volume (for ethanol tuning) are adjusted per map and calibrated to the vehicle and owner's requirements.

True Boost-By-Gear: 

The boost level is set for each gear, this allows the torque to be managed in the lower gears to prevent excessive wheelspin, something that is particularly important for front-wheel drive cars. The boost settings for each gear are also adjustable for each selected map, which allows us to calibrate a lower boost level for lower traction conditions (for example on an unprepped surface) and conversely for higher traction conditions.

• Map 1: Stock Power / Valet (Low Boost in all gears)
• Map 2: Tuned (95 Octane) (Equal Boost in all gears)
• Map 3: High Octane Low Grip (Lower Boost in 1st & 2nd Gear)
• Map 4: High Octane High Grip (Full Boost in all gears)

User Adjustable Launch RPM

The launch control RPM is set by the user using the cruise control buttons and pedal, this setting is stored and saved when the vehicle is turned off. This allows the user to adjust the launch aggression to the surface and grip.
